Omaha boys trip

Charlie and Daddy had a nice overnight boys trip to Omaha. We took advantage of the cooler weather to explore the great zoo and Omaha children's museum which was great. Of course the highlight was probably just running around the embassy suites hotel and looking at all the koi fish.

Summer fun

Lots of family fun so far during this hot, humid, midwestern summer! The kids love to ride the four-wheeler with Grandpa Jim, play in any kind of water, and ride battery powered vehicles all over the neighborhood.

Branson/Tablerock Lake

We had a nice weekend down in Branson/Tablerock lake. Top pic is me Miami style, bottom pic is Charlie and Daddy on the Branson Train line.

Camaro is back!

Daddy is thrilled to get his first ever brand new car with all the options picked out. This 2010 Camaro SS is a beautiful car, very fun to drive, and it's a real beast if you hit the gas! Hard to tell with these cloudly cell phone pics but color is actually inferno orange metallic, with same color on seats and interior with black leather and inferno orange stitching. I get LOTS of attention, but I guess it's a very noticeable machine. It's a whole different animal than my '85 Z28 but I guess 25 yrs has resulted in some improvements.

This pic is of the kids in Daddy's "thinking chair" recliner at my work office. My old lazy boy doesn't apparently "fit in" well at home anymore, but has a valued spot in my office.
